The cherry of the Antilles

The acerola cherry looks very similar to the cherries we commonly eat here, but on closer inspection there are big differences. The bright red acerola, which comes from Central America, Brazil and Jamaica, is one of the plants with the highest vitamin C content in the world. Even Germany's popular vitamin C suppliers, oranges and lemons, have to pass here. Compared to oranges, the vitamin C content is many times higher.

In Brazil in particular, the fruit has been known for several generations and is used in everyday food and drinks. However, due to its high sensitivity, it is not suitable for export. Outside of its growing area, it is therefore mainly available as a powder or tablet and can therefore be easily integrated into the daily diet, either as a tablet for on the go or in powder form for smoothies, fruit bowls and muesli.

Acerola is an extremely high-quality source of vitamin C, which should not only be used in the cold season, but can also be a daily supporter as a source of vitamin C and minerals.

Note: The organic acerola powder currently being shipped is a different batch than the previous one and differs in taste and color from the previous product due to a different drying process. Currently only the beige/cream color variant is available. However, we are offering this to you at the same price - it is available as an upgrade. Complaints in this regard can therefore be ruled out.

Recommended use powder: 1 teaspoon (5g) powder daily (preferably on an empty stomach) with plenty of liquid
